Volunteer Maryland is seeking volunteer managers to develop volunteer programs for nonprofit organizations working in education, human welfare, public safety and the environment.

The full-time, one-year commitment as a member of the national service program, AmeriCorps, begins Aug. 31.

Training, a stipend and a post-service benefit for education are included.
