Cockpit in Court, the summer theater in residence at Essex Community College, continues its 26th season tomorrow with a murder mystery and a musical. The mystery, Agatha Christie's "Murder at the Vicarage," marks the final production that F. Scott Black will direct as Cockpit's managing director. He is retiring from that post at the end of this season.
Presented in the Upstairs Cabaret, the whodunit stars Linda Kent as the indefatigable Miss Marple. The cast also includes Dan Baileys, Mary Knauer, J.R. Lyston and Kathryn Smith.
On the Mainstage, Todd Pearthree directs the 1961 Frank Loesser musical, "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying." Bob Tull stars as fast-rising ex-window washer J. Pierrepont Finch, and Lauren Spencer-Harris is his love interest.
Cockpit in Court performs at Essex Community College, 7201 Rossville Blvd. Show times are 8 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday and June 24-28, and 2 p.m. Sundays, with additional shows of "How to Succeed" at 7 p.m. Sundays.
