Lineboro Volunteer Fire Department welcomes youths ages 13 to 15 for its junior fire department.

The group meets at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month at the firehouse. After a business meeting, the company conducts training drills.

Youths can receive training in preparation for joining the fire company as senior members and begin advancing through the ranks. Interested youths can call the station at 410-374-2197 or attend the next meeting.

Lineboro welcomes new members to be firefighters and/or emergency medical personnel. Training is provided. The firehouse is at 4224 Main St.
