Police seeking suspects in 3 shootings Two men are killed in Baltimore, a third in Baltimore County

Police are looking for suspects in three separate shootings that led to the deaths of two men in Baltimore and a third in Baltimore County.

Wesley Wise, 26, of the 1700 block of Appleton St. in Baltimore died Friday morning at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after he was shot early June 7 by two assailants in the 1400 block of Edmondson Ave.

"We need all the help we can get on this one," said Detective Albert Marcus, who is investigating the case. "It was just another senseless killing in Baltimore."

Wise was walking along Edmondson Avenue about 1 a.m. June 7 when two gunmen shot him in the head as they passed.

Marcus said police knew of no motive for the shooting.

A second shooting in the city left an unidentified man dead in the street about 11 p.m. Friday in the 5100 block of Dickey Hill Road. Police were examining the man's fingerprints yesterday, hoping to identify him.

Baltimore County police are looking for suspects and a motive in the death of a 27-year-old Towson man who was found in his apartment with gunshot wounds to his stomach early yesterday.

The victim's name was being withheld late yesterday, pending notification of his family. The victim was found alone in his second-floor apartment at 5 Lynfair Court.

Officers responded to the scene about 1: 20 a.m. after receiving a call from a man believed to be the victim, police said.

He was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he died two hours later.

Police said they knew of no motives for the shooting but were continuing to investigate.
