Greektown, a great place to live, work, worship and enjoy, announces the annual Greek Folk Festival sponsored by the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Friday through Sunday.

Enjoy ethnic homemade foods, Greek dancing, cultural exhibits, live music and imported wines. Activities will include church tours, cooking demonstrations, festival shopping, video and slide presentations.

In the "Plateia," the Saint Nicholas Festival Lot, there will be outdoor food, drinks, novelties, games and live Bousouki music from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Greek dishes and pastries will be served in the church dining hall from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. all three days.

The Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church is at 520 S. Ponca St. and the lot is at 701-703 S. Ponca St. For information or directions, call the church office at 410-633-5020.

Guinness lacrosse

The Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation invites the public to participate in or to cheer on the players at their record-making event, All Lacrosse the Ages, being held Saturday at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold. This 12-hour game is looking for a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the "Most Players in a Lacrosse Game" and is still

seeking players to reach that goal. Registration will continue until it reaches the maximum number of 240. The public is invited to watch the game and attend free sports education classes run by U.S. team members and former All-American lacrosse players. All funds will be used for scholarships.
