Career highlights: Won the Middle Atlantic PGA Assistants championship, several MAPGA pro-ams and played the Caribbean tour one season. As a driving force in junior golf while an assistant at CC of Maryland and head pro at Chartwell CC, he was instrumental in setting up the first two MAPGA Junior camps. He was named MAPGA Professional of the Year in 1973. Eighteen of his Walden Juniors (he averaged 120 players, ages 7-17, per season) qualified for national tournaments. He began golf administration at Chartwell, and currently serves as general manager, director of golf and head professional at Walden.
Tip: Most golfers are tense when they get to the course. To relieve stress and tension, do things quickly, but not fast. Be ready, and what you see first, go ahead and do it. The more time you take, the more tension is created.
