Arrest correction: The name of a man charged in the burglary of a Cockeysville home Friday was incorrectly reported in Wednesday's Police Blotter. The man arrested was Raymond Sienkielewski.

Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.

Southern District

Shooting: A motorist seated in his car in the 1500 block of Plum St. about 10: 30 p.m. Monday was shot in the neck by one of two men standing outside the vehicle. No arrest had been made. The victim was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.

Theft: A laptop computer and a cellular phone, together valued at more than $3,000, were stolen Monday from a 1998 Geo Prizm parked in the 100 block of W. Camden St.

Burglaries: Stereo equipment, compact discs, fax machine and a digital camera, all valued at more than $1,300, were stolen Monday from Petro Express and Auto Communications, both in the 1800 block of Chesapeake Ave.

Northeastern District

Shooting: Two men were arguing in the 2600 block of Polk St. about 5 p.m. yesterday when one pulled a handgun and fired at least 11 times, hitting the other man in both legs. The victim was in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Detective Anthony Vaeth of the violent crimes task force said the argument was the result of an ongoing dispute.

Eastern District

Robbery: Five men, one with a handgun, robbed a man of $25 in the 4500 block of Freedomway West about 2: 30 p.m. Monday.

North Point Precinct

Theft: A 22-year-old Dundalk woman was arrested Monday when she attempted to leave Value City department store in the 7700 block of Eastern Ave. without paying for clothing and shoes, all valued at more than $100.

Theft: A crystal dinner plate valued at nearly $400 was stolen Monday from a house in the 1000 block of Four Georges Court.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary/arrest: Police arrested a man and charged him with entering the home of a neighbor in the 8300 block of Tally Ho Road overnight Friday and stealing $100, three blank checks and three credit cards. The man was arrested Monday at his home shortly after he allegedly attempted to cash one of the checks at a Parkville bar. Charged with burglary is Ramon Sienkielewski, 37, of the first block of Lochmor Court.
