Col. Oran K. Henderson,77, the highest-ranking officer tried for taking part in killing more than 175 Vietnamese men, women and children in the 1968 My Lai massacre, died Tuesday in Lebanon, Pa. Colonel Henderson, who commanded the 11th Infantry Brigade in Vietnam, was acquitted of charges of failing to conduct an investigation into the massacre after being told civilians were killed.
