To show students that doing well can bring them recognition, the Citizens Advisory Committee of Quarterfield Elementary School has asked The Sun to help publicize its Student of the Week. Winners of the honor must write about themselves.

My name is Nicole Smith. I live in Severn. I attend Quarterfield Elementary School. I'm in fifth grade. My hobbies I like to do after school or in the summer time are play school, swim, watch TV. The things I do well in are swimming. I swim almost five hours every summer day. The things I want people to know about me are I love my family. I love to smile and I love school. My future plans are I want to go to college and become a teacher. My favorite sport is football and soccer. My favorite actor is Will Smith. I also love to dance.
