Fires

Sykesville: Firefighters from Winfield and Pleasant Valley assisted Sykesville at 5: 13 p.m. Friday, responding to a diesel fuel spill on Route 97 at the Howard County line. Units were out three hours and 15 minutes.

Sykesville: Firefighters responded at 1: 37 p.m. Sunday to a fire alarm in the 7100 block of Brangles Road. Units were out 26 minutes.

Gamber: Firefighters from Winfield and Sykesville assisted Gamber at 12: 37 a.m. Monday, responding to a house fire in the 600 block of Sherry Road. Units were out 30 minutes.
