Ashley Custom Homes has opened a model of the Alcott II at Glyndon Mews in the Worthington Valley section of Baltimore County, where the firm is building 22 Victorian-style homes on XTC lots of one-quarter to one-third acre. Twelve homes have been sold.

The Alcott II starts at $276,500 for 2,586 square feet. On the first floor are a two-story foyer with coat closet, 12-by-16-foot living room, double garage, powder and laundry rooms, 12-by-13-foot dining room, 11-by-13-foot kitchen with work island and pantry, 8-by-13-foot breakfast room and 16-by-17-foot family room with fireplace.

The Coventry has 2,750 square feet and a beginning price of $281,500. With a wraparound front porch, the price rises to $285,500.

Upstairs, the owner's suite contains two closets, a 16-by-18-foot bedroom and full bath with soaking tub, double vanities and separate shower.
