No sooner did their seasons end than the Anne Arundel Community Concert Association and the South County Concert Association launched subscription drives for next season, which will be the third year the associations have offered a joint subscription.
The associations allow subscribers to one series to attend all concerts offered by the other.
Subscription prices for both are $35 for adults and $10 for students. The South County association offers family plans of $45 for a single-parent family with children or $80 for a two-parent family with children.
The Anne Arundel association's concerts will be at Severna Park High School, 60 Robinson Road. The South County series is at Southern Senior High School, on Route 2 in Harwood.
The Anne Arundel season begins Sept. 17 with Diva, an all-female big band led by Sherrie Maricle. The Annapolis Chorale will be heard Oct. 7, and soprano Alba Quezada, a California native of Guatemalan descent, will sing the music of Spain, Latin America and the United States on Nov. 5.
Quartetto Gelato, whose members play mandolin, guitar, accordion, oboe, cello, violin, viola, and English horn and other instruments, will perform traditional and classical favorites March 17 in a program of traditional and classical favorites.
The season will end April 13 with 24-year-old German pianist Jan Gottlieb Jiracek, who has been described as one of the leading pianists of his generation.
The South County season will open Sept. 11 with Footworks, a percussive dance troupe that performs English, Irish and French-Canadian step dancing, along with African boot dancing.
The Duttons will appear Oct. 31, and the Black Mountain Male Chorus of Wales will be heard Dec. 10.
The 40-member chorus first performed in toured the United States in 1996 and 1997, winning an award for promoting Welsh culture.
Pianist and narrator Richard Glazier will present a multimedia tribute to George and Ira Gershwin on March 14, and Lainie Nelson will sing the songs of World War II on April 30.
