Carroll Community Access TV Channel 19 is broadcasting a public hearing that was held May 7 on the fiscal 1999 county budget.

The hearing will be aired through June 13 at 4: 30 p.m. Mondays, 9: 30 p.m. Wednesdays and noon Saturdays.

The Board of County Commissioners held the hearing to take public comment on the proposed budget.

Westminster: A Pennsylvania Avenue resident told police Monday that someone scratched her vehicle while it was parked in front of her home. Damage was estimated at $250.

Westminster: A resident of Fairway Drive told police Sunday that someone entered his vehicle and took a cellular phone. The loss was estimated at $200.

Fire

Westminster: Firefighters from Westminster and Reese responded at 7: 09 p.m. Monday to a house fire in the 800 block of E. Saw Mill Road. Units were out 31 minutes.

Westminster: Firefighters responded at 11: 36 p.m. Monday to a fire alarm in the first block of Cranberry Road. Units were out 20 minutes.
