Women's Div. I final
At UMBC
No. 1 Virginia (17-2) vs. No. 3 Maryland (17-3)
Time: 3 p.m.
Skinny: In their 15th appearance in the final, the Terrapins go after their fourth straight Division I championship and their sixth overall. Another NCAA title would give them three more than any other Division I team. Virginia, however, is no stranger to the tournament. The Cavaliers have been to the tournament 11 times, advanced to the finals three times and won titles in 1991 and 1993. In the 25-game series between the Atlantic Coast Conference teams, Maryland has won 19 times. Virginia hasn't beaten the Terps in five years. Maryland won this year's regular-season meeting, 11-8, on March 18.
