An article in the May 5 editions of The Sun incorrectly stated that Harbor Bankshares of Maryland had beaten First Maryland Corp. for a contract to manage $10 million in state retirement money. In fact, First Maryland and Harbor Bankshares were working in partnership to earn the right to manage the money.

The Sun regrets the error.
