Western District
Shooting: A woman, 46, was in critical condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday after being shot in the left eye by a stray bullet fired by one of two men shooting at each other about noon in the 1800 block of Mosher St.
Eastern District
Shooting/arrest: A man was in the 2400 block of Barclay St. yesterday morning when a gunman shot him in the left leg. The victim was treated at Mercy Medical Center. A short time later, police arrested a suspect at a service station in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. and recovered a handgun from his car.
Southern District
Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player was stolen Wednesday from a 1990 Jeep parked in the 1100 block of S. Charles St.
Southwestern District
Theft from vehicle: Someone entered an ice cream truck in the 2100 block of Ashburton St. Wednesday and stole $80 and several boxes of frozen confections.
Northwestern District
Stolen car: A 1994 Infiniti with tags ELW 775 was stolen in the 6200 block of Park Heights Ave. Wednesday.
Northern District
Carjacking: A driver for Yellow Transportation was in the 2400 block of Cylburn Ave. about 4 p.m. Wednesday when one of two women he had picked up at Patterson Avenue and Reisterstown Road sprayed him in the face with a chemical irritant, forcing him to flee the vehicle. The women drove off in the cab, which was recovered on Greenspring Avenue -- missing a bag that held nearly $50.
Theft from vehicle/arrest: A man was arrested Wednesday shortly after the theft of computer equipment, a briefcase and a BB gun from a car parked in the 2200 block of Guilford Ave. A witness led police to a nearby house, where police arrested the suspect and recovered the property.
Burglary: A camera, carrying bag and jewelry were stolen from a house in the 300 block of E. 30th St. Wednesday by someone who entered through a window.
Stolen car: A 1987 Dodge Daytona with tags 230 BDL was stolen in the 300 block of E. 30th St. Wednesday.
White Marsh Precinct
Burglary: Two dirt bikes were stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 7800 block of Oakdale Ave.
Essex Precinct
Burglary: Stereo speakers were stolen Wednesday from Country Ridge Village Center in the 1500 block of Country Ridge Road.
North Point Precinct
Burglary: Video games valued at more than $500 were stolen from a house in the 100 block of E. Cherry Lane Wednesday.
Burglary: A lawn mower valued at $100 was stolen from a shed in the 2900 block of York Way Wednesday.
Burglary: Someone entered a shed in the first block of Thomas Lane Wednesday and stole a bicycle valued at $100.
