Age: 58

Born: Baltimore

Years a professional: 35

Career highlights: An outstanding junior player (he played on unbeaten golf teams at City College, 1954-1957) and the individual winner of three Mason-Dixon titles while at the University of Baltimore, Majewski is recognized for his administrative skills. He was the first pro at Hobbit's Glen, and directed a 36-hole complex that included Allview GC, for 18 years. He has held every office in the MAPGA, including president; was the National PGA's Professional of the Year in 1988; served on the national board for four years; and has officiated at the past two Ryder Cups. Tip: The main thing people forget is the short game. Yet to be a really good player, 60 percent of practice must be from 100 yards in.
