Pleasant Valley: Firefighters responded to a trash fire at 7: 15 p.m. Tuesday on Richardson Road at Route 140. Units were out 14 minutes.

Union Bridge: Firefighters from Union Bridge, New Windsor, Taneytown and Winfield responded to a kitchen fire at 2: 12 a.m. yesterday in the 4400 block of Ladiesburg Road. Units were out two hours.
