Eileen Levitt, president and founder of The Human Element Inc. -- a Columbia-based human resources consulting firm -- has announced that Raab Karcher Energy Services Corp. has retained her company to develop and administer RKESC human resources operations in the United States. A member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Maryland Association for Professional Recruitment Consultants, Levitt lives in Columbia. The Human Element was founded in 1997.

J. Daniel Sadler has been named vice president for commercial lending by The Columbia Bank, a full-service commercial bank with headquarters in Howard County. He will be based at the bank's Lutherville offices and will work with small- to medium-sized businesses in the Baltimore metropolitan area. Sadler was formerly vice president, portfolio manager with First Union.
