THE BALTIMORE SUN

After sparking an all-night search by police, dogs and a helicopter, a missing 10-year-old girl turned up unharmed near the West Baltimore elementary school where she was hiding, police said.

Theresa Marie Kitts spent the night hiding inside James McHenry Elementary while officers searched for her, police said.

At about 9: 30 a.m. yesterday, the child walked from the school to the nearby home of her baby sitter in the 100 block of S. Arlington Street, police said.

The baby sitter then alerted the police.
