An article yesterday in some editions of The Sun incorrectly reported Anne Arundel County Executive John G. Gary's proposed property tax for the fiscal year that begins July 1.

The proposed rate is $2.36 per $100 of assessed value, 2 cents lower than this year's rate.

The Sun regrets the error.
