On TNT, all Elvis, all the time

THE BALTIMORE SUN

For those not maxed out on Elvis already, here's your chance. Beginning at midnight tonight, TNT abandons all restraint with "30 Hours of Elvis."

The marathon begins with "Girl Happy" (midnight-2 a.m.), the 1956 flick with Shelley Fabares (as a mobster's daughter Elvis is compelled to chaperon) and Mary Ann Mobley (as the girl he'd rather be with). Other highlights include "Jailhouse Rock" (8 a.m.-10 a.m. tomorrow), probably the King's most enjoyable film, complete with great music and some wonderful dance numbers, especially to the title song; "Viva Las Vegas" (9 p.m.-11 p.m.), with Elvis as a race-car driver and Ann-Margret as the love interest; and "Elvis: That's the Way It Is" (3: 30 a.m.-6 a.m. Sunday), which documents a Vegas concert.

The rest: "Elvis On Tour" (2 a.m.-4: 05 a.m. tomorrow), "Live a Little, Love a Little" (4: 05 a.m.-6 a.m.), "Clambake" (6 a.m.-8 a.m.), "Elvis: The Early Years" (10 a.m.-4: 15 p.m.), "Speedway" (4: 15 p.m.-6: 30 p.m.), "Follow That Dream" (6: 30 p.m.-9 p.m.), "Kid Galahad" (11 p.m.-1: 15 a.m.) and "The Trouble With Girls" (1: 15 a.m.-3: 30 a.m.).
