Hampstead seeks comment on Main St. revitalization plan

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Hampstead is preparing a revitalization plan for Main Street.

The study area extends along Main Street from North Woods Trail north to the CSX Railroad crossing. The plan will guide the development of Main Street in land use and zoning, streetscape and design and traffic and parking.

A community meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hampstead Fire Hall, 1341 N. Main St., for residents to comment on the project.

The purpose of the meeting is to identify assets, liabilities, opportunities and risks for Main Street.

Information will be used by the Hampstead Main Street Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee and consultants to develop policies and recommendations to improve the business climate.

Information: 410-239-7408.
