Baltimore native Bucky Lasek finished fourth overall in the 10-man skateboarding men's vert finals at the third X Games in San Diego.
Lasek, 24, finished with 90.75 out of a possible 100 points, falling out of medal contention in his first X Games.
Tony Hawk, the owner of Birdhouse (a skateboard manufacturer), one of Lasek's main sponsors, won the event to take home the gold medal with a score of 97.50.
Hawk, 29, has been one of the best skateboarders in the world this decade. He was the vert champion in the inaugural X Games and finished second last year.
Rune Glifberg of Huntington Beach, Calif., was second (92.75).
