Expos update

Interleague baseball comes to Camden Yards, and the Orioles can only hope they have as much success against the Expos as they did in Atlanta. But the Expos have won nine in a row. These teams should be familiar with each other since they met eight times in spring training, with the Orioles holding a 6-2 edge. Ex-Orioles include Anthony Telford, David Segui, Joe Orsulak, Sherman Obando and Lee Smith. Segui (DL-knee) was given medical clearance to take live batting practice. Highly touted rookie outfielder Vladimir Guerrero and infielder Shane Andrews also are on the DL. F. P. Santangelo has hit safely in his last 10 games since moving into the leadoff spot. Ryan McGuire (.441, two homers) has hit safely in his first 10 major-league starts since replacing Segui. The Expos are only 3 1/2 games behind Atlanta and rank third in the NL in batting at .281 and second in homers with 73.
