Shooting: A 15-year-old girl playing cards with several other people on the front porch of a house in the 1600 block of Montpelier St. was shot in the lower back by a gunman pursuing a man in a nearby alley about 9: 40 p.m. Sunday. The girl, a resident of the 2500 block of Robb St., was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital and released. No arrest had been made.
Theft from vehicle: A portable mobile telephone valued at $300 was stolen Sunday from a 1990 Acura parked in the 1500 block of N. Charles St.
Bank robbery: An apparently unarmed man robbed the NationsBank in the 3400 block of Eastern Ave. about 10 a.m. yesterday. A block from the bank, near Eastern Avenue and South Clinton Street, a dye-pack hidden among the cash exploded. The man fled.
Theft: A security door valued at $500 was removed from the front of a house in the 900 block of N. Castle St. on Sunday.
Stolen car: A 1991 GMC van with tags 469824M was stolen Sunday in the 1000 block of Brentwood Ave.
School burglary: Frederick Elementary School in the 2500 block of Frederick Ave. was broken into Sunday and a classroom was ransacked.
Robbery try/stabbing: A man was in the 1200 block of W. Fayette St. about 3 p.m. Sunday when he was stabbed by another man who tried to rob him. The victim was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.
Robbery: A man who implied he was armed with a handgun robbed another man of cash and property, all valued at nearly $200, in an alley behind the 1600 block of W. North Ave. about 4 p.m. Sunday.
Assault: A 20-year-old man was attacked by several men who struck him with bricks and fists Sunday in the 1600 block of N. Monroe St. The victim refused medical treatment. Police said the incident was drug-related.
Shooting: A man was walking in the 900 block of Veronica Ave. about 12: 30 a.m. Sunday when he heard gunshots and felt a pain in his leg. He was shot in the thigh and was treated at Harbor Hospital Center and released.
Burglary: More than $100 was stolen from a cash box in an office at the Etz Chaim Center for Jewish Studies in the 3700 block of Fords Lane on Friday night.
Burglary: A cellular phone of unknown value was stolen Sunday from a house in the 800 block of Maple Crest Drive.
Burglary: Someone entered George's Farm Market in the 7900 block of Harford Road through a side window between Saturday and Sunday and stole more than $200.
