GET YOUR family and friends together and attend the indoor craft show and flea market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, 300 W. Maple Road.
In addition to crafts and flea market items, the Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America of St. John will sell food and soft drinks for lunch. Spaces rent for $12.50.

Woman's club meeting
Officers and committee chairwomen of the Woman's Club of Linthicum Heights will report on the year's activities at the
annual meeting at 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday at the clubhouse. Students will receive Youth Art Awards.
The club's community health and volunteer services committee is collecting nearly new adult and children's clothing. Items brought to the meeting will be donated to the Next to New thrift shop. The shop is owned and operated by the Cancer Resource & Support Center. All proceeds from the shop support CARES programs.
United Methodist Men of Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church will sponsor a roast beef dinner from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the church.
In addition to roast beef, you'll get potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls, homemade desserts and beverages. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 12. Children younger than 5 dine free.

A representative from Constellation Health Services Inc. will speak at the Linthicum-Shipley Improvement Association meeting at 7: 30 p.m. Wednesday at Linthicum Elementary School.
The company is proposing construction of a two-building, assisted-living facility at Hammonds Ferry and Andover roads. Each building would have 15 units.
Susan March, association president, said the group also will discuss plans for a tree planting scheduled April 26-27. The state is providing more than 100 trees for a section of railroad along Maple Road. Help is needed.
Church talent show
Enjoy the evening at the All Church Talent Show at 6 p.m. today at Friendship Church of the Brethren, 217 Mansion Road. Admission is $1 for adults and 50 cents for children.
The youth-sponsored event will benefit the National Youth Conference trip to Colorado in 1998.
Scouting for Food
Thanks to everyone who donated food in the Scouting for Food campaign last month. Boy Scout Troop 822 collected more than 620 pounds of food and donated it to the pantry at Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church. Cub Scout Pack 843 donated the 629 pounds of food to Friendship Church of the Brethren pantry.
