Nikki Schroyer scored a career-high 26 points and matched a career high with 15 rebounds as Mount St. Mary's defeated Robert Morris, 76-68, in overtime in a Northeast Conference women's game last night in Emmitsburg.

The win gave the Mount (14-12, 9-9) the fourth seed in this weekend's NEC tournament. The Mountaineers will receive an opening-round bye and will play host to Rider in quarterfinal game Saturday at 7 p.m.

Robert Morris (9-17, 8-10) led by as many as 13 points in the first half, but the Mount came back to take a one-point halftime lead, thanks in part to a 13-0 run over the later part of the first half.

The Mount had a four-point with a 1 1/2 minutes left in regulation, but baskets by Sheri Horvath and Stacey Ritter sent it into overtime. The Mount converted on all seven of its free throws in overtime and outscored Robert Morris 13-5 in the extra period.
