Outlook: Towson State lost at Hofstra on Friday, 84-71, the Tigers' sixth defeat in seven games and ninth in 11. Junior C Ryan Lexer led the Tigers with 16 points. Junior F Ralph Biggs, the third-leading scorer in America East at 17.8 ppg, was held to 12 points and fouled out, as did junior F Derick Newton, who scored 15. Drexel, the second-place team in America East, beat Delaware on Friday, 74-70, for its sixth consecutive victory. The Dragons battered Towson State, 102-72, on Jan. 7 and lead the series, 17-8. Senior G Jeff Myers, the fourth-leading scorer in the conference, had 21 points for Drexel.
Loyola (7-11, 4-3) at Manhattan (7-11, 3-4)

Outlook: These teams played last Sunday, with Loyola forcing 23 turnovers and winning easily, 78-55, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game. The Greyhounds stayed hot Friday night, defeating Fairfield, 58-53, for their fifth win in the past six games. Again, defense did the trick, with Loyola forcing 18 turnovers and limiting Fairfield to 33-percent shooting from the field. Manhattan, which routed St. Peter's on Friday, 73-54, leads the series, 13-7. The Jaspers have won two in a row.
