Outlook: Division III St. Mary's, coming off a one-point loss to Frostburg State, has been ravaged by injuries. Starting C Brad Kosatka (knee) and backup Marc Goldstein (wrist), and shooting G Garrett O'Donnell (thumb) are out, and F Andy Benincasa (ankle) is doubtful. UMBC has been hurt by poor shooting,
averaging about 33 percent from the field, but its defense has held three of its last four opponents to less than 40 percent. Sophomore G Alhamisi Simms averages 10.3 points. UMBC leads the series 17-7.
Morgan State (1-5) at UCLA (3-3)

Outlook: Morgan is coming off last Saturday's 92-64 loss to Georgetown, its third consecutive defeat. Senior F Chris Watson is averaging 13.8 points and 5.2 rebounds. This is the first meeting between these teams. Preseason All-American Charles O'Bannon leads the Bruins at 17.8 ppg and 5.2 rpg.
James Madison (4-3)
at Towson State (3-5)

Outlook: The Tigers haven't played in 18 days. James Madison leads the series 8-2 but has lost the past two, including last year's 67-64 defeat in Harrisonburg, Va. This is former Maryland coach Lefty Driesell's first game at the Towson Center. His Dukes are led in scoring by Southern-AA graduate Chatney Howard (18.6 ppg), an Allegany Community College transfer.
Navy (6-4) at Stanford (6-1)

Outlook: Navy has lost two in a row, to Dartmouth by 14 points and St. Bonaventure by 16. It trails this series 2-0, including last season's 80-62 loss. In that game, Navy made only 26 of 67 shots from the field and 4 of 17 from the line. Stanford is ranked No. 23 in the latest Associated Press poll.
