Interfaith prayer service is scheduled for Tuesday
The fourth annual interfaith prayer service will begin at 8: 30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 740 N. Calvert St., Baltimore.
Bishop John Ricard, urban vicar of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, will preside at the service and will be assisted by religious and civic leaders.
A reception will follow the service, which is free but tickets are required because of the large number of people expected. Information: 727-3848.
4th annual church tour planned in Catonsville
The fourth annual Catonsville Christmas Church Tour of churches -- sponsored by the Catonsville Ministerium -- will he held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
The self-guided tour can begin at any of the churches. They are: Old Salem, 701 Ingleside, a former country chapel; Our Lady of the Angels chapel at the Charlestown Retirement Community; Catonsville United Methodist Church, 6 Melvin Ave.; Trinity United Methodist Church, 2100 Westchester Ave.; Catonsville Presbyterian Church, 1400 Frederick Road, and Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 929 Ingleside Ave.

Mass to be offered at Seton national shrine
A Mass will be offered on the feast day of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton at 10: 30 a.m. Jan. 4 at the national shrine dedicated to her, 333 S. Seton Ave., Emmitsburg.

Lutheran church plans New Year's Eve service

Jewish federation plans "Women" workshop
"Women, Memory and Identification" is the title of a workshop at 7: 30 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Tiferes Yisroel Bais David Congregation, 6205 Park Heights Ave.
The cost is $18 for the workshop.
At 7: 30 p.m. March 5, "Faith Overcoming Adversity: What the Biblical Characters Teach Us" is the title of a workshop at the Beth Tfiloh Congregation, 3300 Old Court Road. The speaker will be Naomi Harris Rosenblatt.
The workshops cost $18 each and are sponsored by the Women's Department of The Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore as part of its Rosh Chodesh Education Series. Information: 727-4828.
Jewish network schedules interfaith couples event
The Jewish Outreach Network, a joint program of Jewish Family Services and the Baltimore Board of Rabbis, will hold a workshop for interfaith couples from m 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 26 and Feb. 2.
The workshops are for married couples or those planning to marry and topics of discussion include raising children, choosing religious symbols for the home and celebrating holidays.

Composers forum to hold concert Jan. 12
The Baltimore Composers Forum Inc. will present its second concert of the season at 3 p.m. Jan. 12 at SS. Philip and James Roman Catholic Church, 2801 N. Charles St.
The forum is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992.
