4 charged in Dec. 15 robbery

County police arrested three Edgewater men and an Edgewater girl on charges of ambushing an Annapolis man and robbing him at gunpoint at an Edgewater park Dec. 15.

William Walter Tucker Jr., 18, of the 1800 block of Shore Drive; Devin Michael Healey, 20, of the 1600 block of Cambridge Road; and Daniel Jason Russell, 18, of the 1800 block of Shore Road were charged with armed robbery.

Healey and Russell also were charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery, theft and use of a weapon in a felony.

The girl, 15, was charged as a juvenile with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery.

Tucker was being held in the county detention center on $50,000 bond, Healey on $100,000 bond, and Russell on $75,000. Police said the girl was being held at the Waxter Center, a county juvenile home in Laurel.

Eric Snyder, 22, told police he met Healey about 10: 30 p.m. at a park on Shore Drive in Edgewater. While the two talked, two men -- one with a shotgun -- approached and robbed Snyder of a pager and several watches, and Healey of a pager and cash, police said.

Police said that they developed information connecting Healey with the robbery.

Officers arrested the suspects at their homes between 2 p.m. and 5: 30 p.m. Monday, police said.
