Sheppard Pratt hires counseling centers manager
Sheppard Pratt Health System has hired Mary Ellen Mundt CPC, NCC to manage its community counseling centers in the Annapolis region.
As of Nov. 16, the main center, Sheppard Pratt at Annapolis, moved to 147 Old Solomons Islands Road, Suite 206.
Mundt has more than 16 years of behavioral health experience and will oversee day-to-day operations of the five community counseling centers.
She most recently was marketing coordinator for Upper Chesapeake Health System's behavioral health services.
Sheppard Pratt offers behavioral health services at outpatient centers in Annapolis, Crofton, Severna Park, Stevensville and West River.

Dr. Yvonne M. Jackson, a pediatric specialist, has joined Maryland Primary Care Physicians' Glen Burnie practice. She completed her residency at the University of Maryland Medical System and received her medical degree from Howard University in 1993. Maryland Primary Care Physicians is affiliated with the North Arundel Health System.
Dr. Laura A. Garelick has joined Maryland Primary Care Physicians' Pasadena practice as a board-certified family practitioner. She completed her residency at Franklin Square Hospital Center and received her medical degree from Brown University in 1993. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the Maryland Academy of Family Practice and lives in Baltimore.
North Arundel Hospital has awarded its third-quarter "People Who Care" awards to Kathleen Ten-Eyck of the medical records department, Jackie Henderson of the finance department and Karen Wallace of the nursing department. They were identified by colleagues for their dedication.
