Bank robbery/arrest: A man was arrested after the Signet Bank in the 2200 block of E. Northern Parkway was robbed yesterday. Minutes after the robbery, Officers Chester Wisniewski and Robert Alexander saw a man hurriedly get into a cab that was behind the bank and followed it to St. Lo Drive in Clifton Park, where they stopped the vehicle, detained the passenger and seized money believed to have been taken in the robbery. Bernard Edward Green, 29, of the 6300 block of Pioneer Drive was charged with bank robbery and theft and was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.
Stolen car: A silver-colored 1991 Ford with tags ACN 774 was stolen Monday in the 2700 block of The Alameda.
Assault: Three men, one pretending to be a maintenance man, entered an apartment in the 2500 block of Edgecombe Circle North on Monday, threatened a woman with a handgun and sexually assaulted her.
Stolen car: A 1994 Nissan with tags DFX 613 was stolen Monday in the 2800 block of Laurel Ave.
Theft: Two women entered the Dog House, a pet store in the 1000 block of W. 41st St., and stole $80 from a cash register Monday.
Burglary: A case of orange juice, several boxes of cereal and a case of tea bags were stolen Monday from a city highway maintenance shop in the 4100 block of Lakewood Road.
Theft: Two refrigerators valued at $1,100 and two lamps valued at $100 were stolen Monday from a room at Concord Apartments in the 2500 block of W. Belvedere Ave.
Purse snatch: A woman was in the 2900 block of Greenmount Ave. on Monday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at more than $150.
Theft: Between August and Dec. 7, several pieces of jewelry valued at more than $90,000 were stolen from an apartment in the first block of Cross Keys Road.
Stolen car: A 1988 Oldsmobile with tags PHA 025 was stolen Monday in the 200 block of Stony Run Lane.
Theft from truck: A Browning 12-gauge shotgun was stolen Monday from a 1995 Ford pickup truck parked in the 6000 block of Sycamore Road.
Burglary: A television and telephone, all valued at $160, were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 3900 block of Penhurst Ave.
Robbery: A man was assaulted by several men and robbed of $6 Monday in the 2600 block of Violet Ave.
Shooting: A 23-year-old man was talking on a public telephone in the 1200 block of W. North Ave. on Monday when an unknown gunman stepped from behind a building and shot him in both legs with a large caliber handgun. The victim was in stable condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center yesterday.
North Point Precinct
Burglary: Clothing, toys and electronic equipment, all valued at more than $4,000, were stolen between Sunday and yesterday from a trailer behind the Kmart department store in the 200 block of North Point Blvd.
Theft: On Nov. 30, a watch and jewelry, all valued at more than $1,600, were stolen from a jewelry box in the bedroom of a house in the 7800 block of E. Collingham Drive. The thief also made long-distance telephone calls totaling $135. The incident was reported Monday.
Theft: A bike valued at $500 was stolen Monday from the athletic field at Dundalk Senior High School in the 1900 block of Delvale Ave.
Vandalism: The bodies of at least 12 cars were scratched with an unknown sharp object between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of E. Joppa Road, where they were parked in back of the Metro food market in Perring Plaza Shopping Center. Damage was estimated at nearly $3,000. In an apparent unrelated incident, a large quantity of Christmas wrapping was stolen from a storage trailer behind MJ Designs in the shopping center between Sunday and Monday.

Arrest: John Allen Hargrave, 32, of the 100 block of N. Broadway was arrested at home yesterday on a warrant charging him in the Aug. 2 robbery of the First National Bank in the first block of S. Charles St. in the city. He was being held at Central Booking and Intake Center.
