Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes in Baltimore and Baltimore County.
Burglary: A television valued at nearly $300 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 500 block of Argonne Drive.
Robbery: A woman was in the 1700 block of E. Belvedere Ave. on Tuesday when she was struck by a man who stole from her a baby's toy rocker, valued at $20.
Burglary: Property valued at $400 was stolen Tuesday from the Arcade Pharmacy in the 5500 block of Harford Road. Entry was gained after a window was broken out.
Robbery: A 50-year-old woman was in the 1400 block of Bolton St. on Tuesday when a man grabbed her around the neck, dragged her into an alley and robbed her of her purse containing a small sum of money.
Stolen car: A 1991 Acura with tags DND 693 was stolen Tuesday in the 3700 block of Liberty Heights Ave.
Robbery: A Pikesville woman was in the 5800 block of Reisterstown Road on Tuesday when a man placed an unknown weapon in her back and robbed her of $20.
Burglary: Hand and power tools, all of unknown value, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3400 block of Piedmont Ave.
White Marsh Precinct
Burglary: Tools valued at $400 were stolen Tuesday from a construction company trailer parked in the 6000 block of Rossville Blvd.
Burglary: More than $1,000 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 8500 block of Gradian Drive.
Robbery/arrest: On Tuesday, a 25-year-old man robbed a patron at Jerry D's tavern in the 7800 block of Harford Road of his wallet containing $25. The man was caught outside by patrons, who turned him over to police.
Stolen car: A white four-door 1994 Acura Legend with tags BGX 110 was stolen Tuesday in the 200 block of Stanmore Road.
Burglary: Two mountain bikes and tools, all of unknown value, were stolen Monday or Tuesday from a shed in the 6500 block of Beverly Road.
Assault: Two men -- one from Owings Mills and the other from Finksburg -- were riding in a car in the 3300 block of Walnut Ave. in Owings Mills on Tuesday when someone fired a handgun at them from a dark green Plymouth Neon. The bullet shattered the rear window of the car carrying the victims. No injuries were reported, and police knew of no motive.
Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen Tuesday from Carpet Fair in the 1900 block of Powers Lane.
Arson: A 1986 Oldsmobile, parked in the 6700 block of Fox Meadow Road, was set on fire Tuesday.
North Point Precinct
Theft: On Tuesday, a woman tried to leave the Super Fresh food store in the 1400 block of Merritt Blvd. on Tuesday without paying for nearly $60 worth of meats and seafood and was detained by employees. The woman produced identification and was released. Police said the store may issue a warrant for the woman's arrest or a summons, ordering her to court to answer theft charges.
Assault: Four people were in the 2500 block of W. Woodwell Road on Tuesday when a man left his house and pointed a handgun at them for no apparent reason. No injuries were reported. Charges against the man were pending.
Theft/arrests: An employee of Value City at Eastpoint Mall and a male friend were arrested Tuesday and charged with shoplifting more than $100 worth of clothing. Charged with theft were Belinda Palmer, 24, of the 100 block of Alberge Lane in Baltimore County and Christopher B. Mantell, 21, of the 2900 block of Westwood Ave., Baltimore City.
