The B&O; Railroad Museum is at 901 W. Pratt St. and will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $6 adults; $5 seniors; $3 children; free for children under age 4. Call (410) 752-2490.
The Baltimore County Historical Society will be celebrating the birthday of one of America's oldest counties with a festival on Sunday.
Baltimore County was established in 1659, and some of the activities at "Old Farm and Home Day" will feature craft demonstrations from that time period -- including quilting, weaving, spinning, woodworking, decoy carving and candle making. Also featured will be antique car displays, a Civil War living history re-enactment and musical entertainment.
The festival will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday on the grounds of the former county almshouse, 9811 Van Buren Lane, Cockeysville. Admission is free. Call (410) 592-5558 or (410) 666-1876.
