Man charged in theft of shirts worth $904

Police arrested a Baltimore man Wednesday on charges he stole $904 worth of shirts from Hecht's at Marley Station.

Lee E. Rice, 37, of the 3000 block of Christian St. was charged with felony theft.

A Hecht's security guard told police he saw a man take eight Tommy Hilfiger shirts from a store display, stuff them into a J. C. Penney bag and leave the store.

The guard stopped the man, recovered the shirts and held him until an officer arrived, police said.

Glen Burnie: Someone broke into a storage room in the 7800 block of Americana Circle overnight Sunday and stole lawn and electronic equipment, bicycles and other household items. The loss was put at $2,540.
