How acquired: Selected by Ravens as second pick in sixth round of 1996 NFL draft.
Highlights: Four-year collegiate totals included 239 receptions for 4,468 yards and 46 touchdowns. Consensus Division II All-American. Was second among collegiate career yardage leaders and third among career reception leaders. Had 22 games with 100-plus receiving yards and 16 games with two or more touchdown catches. Posted 41 straight games with at least one reception. Had his best season as a junior with 77 catches for 1,454 yards and 17 touchdowns, setting a Norfolk State record.
Personal: Attended Henrico High in Richmond, Va. Was all-state in football, and all-metro in basketball. Nickname is "Noonie." Physical education major.
How acquired: Claimed by Cleveland in August 1993.
Highlights: Led the team in special-team tackles in each of the past three seasons (21, 21, 19), including a career-high five against Cincinnati last season. Had at least one stop on special teams in 12 of 18 games in 1994. Recorded nine tackles for the Patriots in the preseason before being released in 1993. Spent the season on the Browns' practice squad in 1992.
Personal: Named Associated Press second-team All-Big Ten in 1991. Named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 1988. Attended Richwoods (Ill.) High. Graduated from college with a degree in organizational studies. Father, Ken, played center and linebacker for Illinois. Hobbies include tennis, racquetball and volleyball. Wants someday to coach football. Nicknamed "Scud" for the missile.
