How acquired: Ravens' second choice, 26th overall, in the 1996 NFL draft.
Highlights: A three-year starter at Miami who came out after his junior season. Consensus All-American and runner-up for the Butkus Award. Finished fifth on Hurricanes' all-time tackles list with 388. Led the Big East in tackles for two straight seasons. His 160 tackles last season were second in Hurricanes history.
Personal: Team MVP in junior and senior seasons at Kathleen High School (Lakeland, Fla.), where he played linebacker and running back and returned kickoffs. Was a state wrestling champ at 189 pounds. Often wears a shirt with a picture of his slain friend and former Miami teammate, Marlin Barnes. Majored in arts and sciences. Has a son, Ray Anthony Lewis.

How acquired: Signed as a free agent with Browns in 1994.
Highlights: Was the only rookie to make the Browns' final roster in 1994. His first action was against Denver in October 1994. Totaled 183 tackles, 18 sacks and two fumble recoveries in 39 career games as a Tiger. Led Missouri in sacks with eight as a senior and five as a junior.
Personal: Set a Missouri shot put record with an effort of 61-6. Lettered in wrestling and track at Hickman Mills High School (Kansas City, Mo.), where he received Honorable Mention All-District and All-Metro honors. Has degree in parks, recreation and tourism. Married to the former Laura Horstmeyer.
