Geoffrey Davis moves to TNT Logistics
TNT Logistics, an international logistics and transportation company, appointed Geoffrey B. Davis Jr. vice president for design and development at its U.S. headquarters in Linthicum. He will be responsible for development and design of supply chain distribution systems.
A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, with an MBA in management and technology, Davis joins the company from the position of director of quality and customer assurance with Halbart Air Service, where he was also a member of the board.
TCI Communications selects marketing director
TCI Communications of Baltimore has chosen Willie Vereen marketing director.
A veteran of the cable television industry since 1983, he was marketing manager for Cox Communications in Lubbock, Texas. holds an MBA from Centenary College of Louisiana.
Air Cargo names Jurick head of intercity trucking
Air Cargo, a ground service system servicing the airline and freight forwarding industries, has appointed Robert Jurick manager of intercity trucking.
Jurick has 14 years of experience in the transportation field and was formerly director of operations for CCX Express before joining the Annapolis-based company.

Sparks bank names Zellman assistant vice president
Sparks State Bank announced the appointment of Ruth Ann Zellman Zellman as assistant vice president. She has been with Mercantile Bankshares for about 15 years, most recently as manager of its Hereford branch. Sparks State Bank serves Baltimore, Carroll and Harford counties, along with southern York County, Pa.
Malis, Goldstrom, Hopson has named Susan Jenkins as a media buyer. A communications graduate of Loyola College, Jenkins formerly was with W. B. Doner & Co.
The Pikesville-based advertising and design house also announced that Carey Griffin, formerly with Cornerstone, joined the agency as a copywriter. She is a graduate of Towson State University.
Eisner & Associates hires Wentland as art director
Eisner & Associates selected Stacy Wentland as art director. A business administration/marketing graduate of Towson State University, Wentland was formerly with the John Marks Advertising and the Maleson-Naylor agencies.
Green Spring Health names a vice president
Green Spring Health Services Inc. of Columbia has named Katherine Olberg Sternbach vice president of public sector development.
Sternbach previously was the company's director of Medicaid development.
Keswick names a director of nursing, financial officer
Keswick announced the appointment of Deborah Radke Radke as chief financial officer. Radke was director of finance, geriatric services at Bon Secours Health Systems Inc. Keswick named Mary S. Laukaitis director of nursing for the Roland Park multicare and assisted-living center. Laukaitis previously was associate director of nursing at the Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital. She had also worked at Kernan Hospital.
Shapiro & Olander has chosen William E. Carlson to chair the Baltimore law firm's business department, which concentrates on corporate, securities, real estate and intellectual property law.
A member of the department since 1984, he specializes in closely held and midsize businesses and municipal law. A law graduate of the University of Maryland, Carlson also serves on the board of the Greenspring Fund and is vice chairman of the Community Relations Commission of Baltimore.
