Pylesville man wounded in Annapolis shooting

County police arrested a Westminster man Thursday on charges of shooting a Pylesville man during an argument in Annapolis.

Robert Lance Tucker, 25, of the 1400 block of Allen Way in Westminster was charged with assault with intent to murder. He was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

He is accused of shooting Robert Lehr, 18, of the 2300 block of Harkins Road in Pylesville. Lehr was in stable condition in the Prince George's Hospital Center's shock trauma unit in Cheverly with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police said Lehr and another man were in a fistfight in the 3000 block of Arundel on the Bay Road about 4: 15 p.m.

Police charge two men with bowling alley break-in

County police arrested two men Friday on charges of breaking into the Severna Park Bowling Alley.

Thomas Eldridge Paddy, 30, and Donald Locke Harding, 45, both of no fixed address, were charged with burglary and theft.

Police said they were alerted about 2: 10 a.m. by an alarm at the bowling alley in the 800 block of Ritchie Highway.

Officers found a metal exterior wall had been peeled back and internal drywall had been destroyed. They saw two men running through woods behind the bowling alley. A police dog caught up to one suspect and bit him on the foot.

Man steals jewelry, money from two teens on highway

A man snatched jewelry and money from two teen-agers as they walked along Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie on Thursday, county police said.

The boys, a 15-year-old from Brooks Terrace and a 16-year-old from Brooklyn Park, told police they were walking on the southbound side of the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway about 2: 40 p.m. when a man approached and asked where he could purchase marijuana.

The man admired a gold ring and watch one boy had, then ripped the jewelry from his hand. He also grabbed a $20 bill from the other youth's hand.

The thief got into a red Chevrolet truck driven by another man. The truck drove onto the Interstate 695 on-ramp from northbound Ritchie Highway.

Linthicum boy, 12, charged with assault on schoolmate

County police arrested a 12-year-old Linthicum youth on assault charges Thursday. He is accused of beating a schoolmate at Brooklyn Park-Lindale Middle School.

Police said the school's assistant principal told them the suspect and a 13-year-old fought about 12: 40 p.m.

The victim was punched in the eye, police said.

Teen accused of theft at Glen Burnie Best Buy

A Baltimore youth was arrested Thursday on charges of theft from a Glen Burnie electronics store.

The 16-year-old was charged on a juvenile citation after trying to walk out of the store without paying for several items, police said.

A security officer at the Best Buy in the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway told police he saw a teen-ager remove seven compact discs and a Motorola pager from a display and put them in his book bag about 5: 05 p.m.

The items were valued at $117.41.

Merchandise is stolen from Odenton store

A man walked out of an Odenton electronics store Thursday night with almost $170 worth of computer equipment that he didn't buy, county police said.

An employee at the Radio Shack in the 1500 block of Annapolis Road told police a man entered the store about 6 p.m., removed a bin containing $169 worth of computer accessories and quickly walked out. He drove away in a green car on Blue Water Boulevard.
