Hasan won state titles in the 1,600 (4:34.7) and 3,200 meters (10:10.6) at the Class 1A-2A state championships Thursday. The senior also finished second in the 800 with a personal-best time of 2:04.1.

Johns scored 41 points and grabbed 16 rebounds as Randallstown advanced to the quarterfinals round of the Class 3A East playoffs with a win over Eastern Tech (57-54). The junior center also finished with 11 blocked shots.

Kiler, a 140-pounder, won a Class 3A-4A North Regional title last weekend, recording a 13-3 decision over Harford County champ Joe Ercolano (Fallston) in the finals. The No. 1-ranked senior's two other wins were by injury default and 16-0 technical fall.

At the end of the school year, each player chosen as an Athlete of the Week will be invited to a luncheon Tuesday, June 4 at the Towson Sheraton, where one male and one female Athlete of the Year will be chosen.
