Capital Gazette wins special Pulitzer Prize citation for coverage of newsroom shooting that killed five

Kyler and Hampton suspended by Tenn.

Tennessee football players Greg Kyler (Poly) and Anthony Hampton were suspended indefinitely by coach Phillip Fulmer after being arrested during the weekend for allegedly kicking and beating a team manager.

Kyler, a redshirt freshman, also was suspended from the indoor track team. He has an arraignment scheduled for Monday. Hampton, a sophomore linebacker, has his arraignment on Tuesday.

Both players are being represented by attorney Brent Watson, who played football for Tennessee from 1974-77.

Watson did not return phone calls yesterday.

Tennessee officials had no further comment on the incident,

which is still under investigation.
