Tennessee football players Greg Kyler (Poly) and Anthony Hampton were suspended indefinitely by coach Phillip Fulmer after being arrested during the weekend for allegedly kicking and beating a team manager.
Kyler, a redshirt freshman, also was suspended from the indoor track team. He has an arraignment scheduled for Monday. Hampton, a sophomore linebacker, has his arraignment on Tuesday.
Both players are being represented by attorney Brent Watson, who played football for Tennessee from 1974-77.
Watson did not return phone calls yesterday.
Tennessee officials had no further comment on the incident,
which is still under investigation.
