Police are looking for a gunman who attempted to rob a Baltimore man Sunday as he was making a bank deposit.
Michael W. Davidson, 35, of the 600 block of Cromwell St. told police he went to the Bank of Glen Burnie in the 1400 block of Annapolis Road shortly before 8 p.m. to make a deposit.
The gunman got out of a white Ford Ranger, pulled out a blue revolver and demanded the money bag, police said.
When the gunman found only checks inside, he dropped the bag and ran back to the pickup truck, police said.
The truck, driven by another man, sped west on Annapolis Road, police said.
The gunman was described as a black male in his mid-30s, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a dark zippered hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Glen Burnie woman charged with theft of athletic shoes
A Glen Burnie woman was charged Sunday with stealing a pair of aerobics shoes from a Value City store, county police said yesterday.
Tina Taylor, a security guard for the store in the 7700 block of Ritchie Highway, said she saw a woman head for the shoe department shortly after 5 p.m. and try on a pair of Reebok Aerostep shoes valued at $49, police said. The woman put her shoes in the store box and left with the new shoes on her feet, police said.
Tracey Lynn Muhl, 23, of the 100 block of Herbert Court was charged with theft.
