THE BALTIMORE SUN

The owner of an Edgewater landscaping company told police someone cut the padlock off a barn door and stole lawn equipment worth more than $5,200 between Tuesday evening and 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Richard Easterling, 30, owner of Rix Landscaping and Lawn Service told police he stored his equipment -- two Gravely mowers, a chain saw, an edger, a hedge cutter, two weed cutters, a blower and bolt cutters -- in the barn behind the Edgewater post office in the first block of Mayo Road Tuesday evening.
