Police seek man who kidnapped woman
Police are looking for the driver of a white four-door Oldsmobile Cutlass who kidnapped and assaulted a Glen Burnie woman Tuesday.
The woman, 25, told police she was walking on Furnace Branch Road about 8 a.m. when the man grabbed her in a bear hug and forced her into the car.
The man drove south, holding onto the woman so she could not escape, police said. The man, whom the woman said she vaguely knew, threatened to kill her for taking his things, she told police.
The woman jumped out of the car at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Jumpers Hole Road, ran to a Shell gas station and called police.
The driver turned left onto Jumpers Hole heading toward Mountain Road, police said. Police do not have a description of the driver.
