Armed men rob fast-food restaurant

Two men forced their way into a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in Glen Burnie at gunpoint Sunday, ordered one employee to tie up another, then robbed the store of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said yesterday.

The incident occurred about 8:30 a.m. as the employees were entering the restaurant in the 7300 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. The bandits robbed the safe, took the keys of both employees' cars and drove off in a tan Hyundai Excel, police said.

Thief wishes victim well after robbing delivery man

A man armed with a handgun robbed a pizza delivery man Friday, then gave him back some of the money and wished him a nice day, county police said.

Wesley M. Gundacker, 22, of the 1400 block of Filbert St., told police he had delivered a pizza to the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie shortly before 8 p.m. and was returning to his car when a man approached him and pointed a gun at him.

The man demanded cash and Mr. Gundacker complied, handing the gunman $36. The bandit returned $10 to Mr. Gundacker, told him to "have a good day," and ran off, police said.
