Bulls: Their 99-79 victory over the New York Knicks Tuesday was their 12th straight. The Knicks have now lost three straight at home.

Hawks: Won their ninth straight in beating the Cleveland Cavaliers, 84-72. The Cavs made just 29 of 84 (.346) shots.

Magic: Stayed unbeaten at home with a 105-90 rout of the Philadelphia 76ers. Orlando reached the halfway point of its home schedule with a 21-0 record.

Jazz: Outscored Portland, 30-8, in the second quarter and held the Trail Blazers to the lowest point total in their history in a 96-72 victory. Portland's previous lowest-scoring game was a 130-74 defeat by Chicago in 1976. G Andy Toolson, signed to a 10-day contract last week by Utah, left the team Tuesday to play in Greece. Toolson asked the Jazz to release him from his contract so that he could accept an offer from AEK-Athens.

Raptors: Alvin Robertson set a franchise record with seven steals, including a club-record four in the first quarter, as Toronto beat the New Jersey Nets, 86-79. The Nets committed 27 turnovers.

Suns: Their 117-102 loss to the Indians Pacers left them 1-3 under coach Cotton Fitzsimmons, who took over when team president Jerry Colangelo fired Paul Westphal on Jan. 14, the Suns' sixth loss in seven games.
