Outlook: The Tigers have won their past two games and are 3-1 in the North Atlantic Conference. They're coming off a 93-71 romp over Boston. Senior G Scooter Alexander scored a season-high 21 points. Senior F Ralph Blalock continues to lead Towson at 18.2 points per game. Vermont (3-3 NAC) is coming off Sunday's 107-80 rout of Harford. Senior G Eddie Benton leads Vermont at 24.2 ppg. He's the leading active scorer in Division I.

Outlook: The Greyhounds are coming off a huge upset, winning at Manhattan on Monday, 59-54. Senior G Mike Powell (18.9 ppg) scored all 10 of his points in the last eight minutes. Loyola is 1-1 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Iona has played once in the past two weeks, and this is its MAAC opener. The Gaels' opponents are shooting 40 percent from the field.
UMBC (2-12) at Radford (7-7)

Outlook: UMBC broke a 10-game losing streak Monday, rallying past Lehigh, 72-67, behind 18 points from freshman G Alhamisi Simms. Leading scorer Tony Thompson returned from an ankle sprain and had 21 points. The Highlanders are 1-1 in the Big South Conference; UMBC is 0-3 and averaging a conference-low 54.7 points a game. Radford is coming off a 71-65 overtime win over Liberty. Anthony Walker (14.6 ppg) and Jason Lansdown (14.1) are its leading scorers.
