Ohio U. beats Coppin, 94-92, in consolation

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Paul Morris came off the bench last night to score 27 points, hitting all 10 of his shots and leading Ohio University to a 94-92 victory over Coppin State in a consolation game of the Pepsi Oneida Nation Classic.

Morris' jumper with 12 seconds remaining closed out the game for the Bobcats, who led the entire second half.

Terquin Mott led the Eagles (3-6) with 29 points.

The Bobcats took their biggest lead of the second half at 81-70 with 7:52 remaining. Coppin moved within 92-91 with 1:15 left on Mott's jumper, which capped a 13-4 run.

Ohio sealed the victory after Morris' jumper by fouling Mott with no time remaining and the Eagles down by three.

Julian King contributed 21 points for Coppin, netting six three-pointers.
